What could be better than a beautiful bride, awesome evening lighting, and a new lens (70-200 baby!)?  This session was probably one of my favorites ever!

Sweet baby Samuel is a miracle in every sense of the word.  I am so thankful for the time I was able to spend with him and his family.  

{the good ol' days}

I had the opportunity to spend time with Alicia today doing a "senior shoot".  We had a great time scouting out fun places.  I loved talking with Alicia about her life... high school, dating, school dances, student government.  It took me back for a couple of hours to the good ol' days.  You are absolutely gorgeous Alicia, thanks for the fun!

I don't know that  a family could be  more cute... The Slacks have a complete basketball team of five (may I repeat FIVE!) boys.  They are the sweetest most well behaved boys.  Here are a few favorites from their session.

{watson family}

The Watson's were such good sports on an absolutely FREEZING day!  They showed up with hot chocolate for everyone to keep warm (including me... thank you!!).  I love the snow on the trees, it gives the photos a surreal winter wonderland feel.  What a beautiful family, honestly model material!  

{brook & rich}

I had the opportunity to travel to St. George for Brook and Rich's big day.  Brook was a beautiful bride and I don't think Rich stopped smiling all day long.  It was a gorgeous day!  Thanks for letting me share in your special day guys!  Congratulations!

{clark & renee}

Clark and Renee were such a fun couple to work with.  They were so open to any crazy thing I wanted to try.  We laughed and laughed and they kissed and kissed!  Honestly they are the sweetest couple.  Their love for one another was so tangible.  I pray that in 40 years Troy and I have still have that kind of a relationship!  By the way, did you know that glass eyes really aren't made out of glass?  One of the great myths of the world... they're plastic!

As a mom of two crazy boys, I felt like I had died and gone to heaven to be able to photograph this gorgeous little girl.  Look at those big brown eyes!  Thanks to the Evans' family who were patient with me even when I requested that they pose in an old abandoned outhouse (it was even a three-seater... plenty of room for everyone!).
